Her sister Nina went to schools along that included children of First Nations as well as other ethnic groups. Isabel lives currently within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at school. She then went on to pursue a degree in drama at the Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and more recently studied the PEM Method (Perdekamp Emotional Method). The actress never had auditions for parts until she was discovered via her agent back in 2002. She was auditioning to be a character in Home and Away (1998). The producers felt she wasn't appropriate for the role but they were impressed enough to create a different role that she could play Tasha. She played her first television role for three years. In recognition of her performance she won a Logie Award. In 2008 Isabel moved to Los Angeles. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was the film in which she achieved her first big break. Since then, she's appeared in many US and Australian films and has won numerous awards. Isabel recently played a part of Bosh & Rockit - Ocean Boy the film that has quickly become a standard of Australian film. Isabel will also be featured in the film Lunacy. Isabel recently finished Sons of Summer. She is currently in the pre-production stage for her character Marie Curie with award winning writer/director Annika Glas.
